Community at Campbell
At Campbell, giving to our local communities matters. It matters to the local organizations we support; it matters to our employees who live and work in those communities; and, it matters to Campbell because it is core to who we are and what we value as a company.
We focus our community work on strengthening and empowering healthy communities in our Campbell hometowns. We work to create change that is systemic, bold and developed in partnership with the local community. Our approach is rooted in our Campbell values and helps us deliver on the promise of our purpose, Real food that matters for life’s moments, everywhere we are.

Campbell Soup Foundation
Founded in 1953, the Campbell Soup Foundation supports organizations driving transformative work across our U.S. footprint through our Community Impact Grants program. In addition to providing matching gift support for the donations our employees make, the Foundation also makes financial contributions to improve the school food environment.

Campbell’s Healthy Communities
We believe in the power of collaboration to address our communities most pressing needs. That’s why, in 2011, we launched Campbell’s Healthy Communities – a 10-year, $10 million initiative to improve the health of young people in our hometown of Camden, NJ. The program is focused on improving food access, increasing physical activity, providing nutrition education and building public will – all critical components to creating a healthy community. Our funded partners work together to achieve our common mission in a variety of settings including schools, health care sites and food retailers. The partners’ commitment to working collectively is key to the success of the work.

Employee Giving Programs
Wherever a Campbell facility is located, we are there, giving not only financial support, but also providing our most powerful resource – our people. We believe in empowering employees to increase their impact and focus their giving on causes and organizations that matter to them. Our Giving That Matters employee giving programs provide every Campbell employee with $1,500 in an annual match to support their direct charitable gifts and volunteer time.
Our employees give more than 10,000 hours of volunteer service annually to hundreds of local non-profits through our annual week of service – Giving That Matters Week, through ongoing skills-based projects, and through team building events.
